I tried to start up my DFX2BO tonight and it wouldn't let me in the game saying that I needed the mod.
I checked to ensure I was starting the correct DFX2 and tried again but to no avail.
I have re-installed the mod and then the update.
Anyone else have this happen to them?

Try checking to see if your desktop BO icon is pointing to the right folder. I'm not sure of which version of windows you have but in XP I just point at the desktop icon and right-click the mouse and then select Properties. This will show the "Target" for the icon and the path to the executable file for BO. If it's not right, then change it.

He started over with a fresh install. Almost wonder if it had to do with nova being down and those trying to run the update. If you do this it will mess up the bo mod install.
