Weapon selection help

Post by Bulldog1 »

Hi Guys.
Just wondering if you are able to help regarding the selection of certain weapons for different maps.
We are trying to make maps that only allow shot guns to be used and others where maybe just 249's are allowed. The problem comes when a map finishes, the next one's weapons revert back to the default weaponry.

Hope I have explained myself properly.

Thanks

I wish it were possible to set up weaponry for each individual map, but it's not. I think it can be done only for 'Single Player' maps and I'm not real sure about that.

It can be done manually with PHP-RAT but it would be difficult because the server host has to make the weapons switchout between maps and there is very little time to do it.

Thanks for replying Bubbachuk. I thought there would be a problem regarding the weapon selection for each map. We shall just have to upload a group of maps and set them all to the required weapons via wolfrat.

Thanks again.

Not a problem . . . :D

You said that you use Wolfrat as your C/C server. Have you tried using PHPRAT?

We use it on all of our servers and it works much better than Wolfrat plus it's easy to set up and easier to use than Wolfrat. Also, it's a web based program that you could easily run from another computer.
