Post by huntor »

Hey if you guys happen to find something odd about 1.3 please post it here and maybe in another 6 months we can come up with a fix update.

But if you do not post it then I do not know about it so please please please POST!

I am not sure if this is an ODDITY or S.O.P. of the Black Ops 1.3 ...

I made a few changes to my map “Onlooker” and saved the MIS as usual. I then did “save and export with stats.” The “bx2_onlooker.bms”, .ifl and .log files were saved in the NovaLogic directory where the “DFX2 BO Mod [1.3 Mapping]” folder resides. Not only that, but, the files were named “DFX2 BO Mod [1.” So, I had to go outside the folder and rename the files to begin with “bx2_onlooker” and then moved the files into “DFX2 BO Mod [1.3 Mapping] folder.

DFX2 BO Mod [1.3 Mapping]
Don't use the period <.> in the 1.3 . . . show it as 13.

Yes the med manager has a problem with periods in the map name and also including any folders with a period on it.

For example

If you made your game folder and location with this

C:\BOMod1.3\Delta Force Xtreme 2\

The med manager will read C:\BOMOD and stop in its tracks and name your BMS file in that folder with the name BOMOD.bms

If you removed the period to
C:\BOMod13\Delta Force Xtreme2\
The med manager will now save the bms and all other files in the correct folder with the correct name. It just has a hard time working with periods in the file name and or folder names.

... a simple thing like that? I feel like such the bot for using a period <.> in my folder names.

Thanks.

Yeah that happened to be one of the issue we had while testing. Couldn't figure out why it was doing odd things. Then once I switched the name poof worked like a charm ;-)

I am not sure if this matter is about 1.3 or 1.01 version(although I downloaded both) but there is a matter with the aimpoint of OICW assault rifle. It does not aim to the red point directly. Thanks in advance for your consideration...

I double checked the OICW and the red dot is accurate. In standing mode there is alot of recoil giving the illusion that it is not accurate. But if you put it in single shot mode and pic a fixed point on an item. I hit it dead center where the red dot was. I could not find an issue of it being that far off.
