I've found that most of the sniper rifles are about the same as far as distance but some seem to have more kill power.

Speaking as a map maker:
The AI snipers are way to weak. They should be far more accurate and very deadly. It would be nice to have better snipers. That way we could cut down on the number of RPGs and Stingers . Snipers should be deadly at least out to 800 meters.
