WHY Delta Force 2??

It gives us a break from playing the same games, same maps, etc.
If we get enough players interested, we can set up our own personal password server so we don't have to deal with the hacks and cheats in the other servers.

I know a few of you played Land Warrior. I don't have many maps for the game but maybe some of you do and we can put up a LW server occasionally.

If you don't have the game, you can download them by going to http://novalogic.com, click on "SHOP NOW" button. This takes you to "Steam" where you can download the games. By the way, the game costs $1.24!!

The game will not need an update.

Once the game is downloaded, go to https://novahq.net/files.php?ID=540 to download the DF2 Fixer. Extract it into the DF2 file and you're ready to go.

Mainly this is a "Grins & Giggles" server that's intended to break the monotony.

I've installed and played a couple of times Bubba and it's great fun to revisit DF2!
There's some peculiarities going on when playing maps with choppers and boats, but still fun :-)

I'd love to try a multiplayer game of LW too!

bubba,

I followed your instructions from last night. Steam uses a url to run the game, so there is no directory to copy the file to. I looked on steam to see if there was any other way to download but I do not see any.

Thanks for the help. I did get this working. The DF2 directory is under the Steam directory in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Delta Force 2
