Which game are you trying to get to work. Also it is advised to turn off User Account Controls. Which will help with the JO, DFX, DFX2 install go smoother.

You can also try installing directx 9.0c. It will not conflict with directx 11. This might fix your mouse problem.

I just built a new rig with win7 x64 didnt bother with user accounts and everything went fine EXCEPT UP-DATING FROM NOVA LOL and didnt run any compatability.
Is it a TOTALLY fresh install on a new system ?

What kind of mouse you using?? Also could have something to do with video card drivers. Outside of that im at a lost. Your not the first one to have this issue either.

It may also be an issue with the game.cfg setting. Since DFX2 doesn't allow you to change specific settings like JO did. It is active in BO. Could see if any of them fix the mouse issue.
