It has been 6 years since I have upgraded the web server hardware. It is time to make it current again.
Here is the list of differences between the old and the new coming.
OLD
Server 2008 Web Edition
8 GB 1333 Mhz
AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.2 GHz
MotherBoard 785GM-E65
NEW
Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition
32 GB 1600 Mhz
AMD A10-7850K 3.70 GHz Quad Core
Motherboard GA-F2A88XM-D3H
This should be a nice little upgrade!!!

Re: New Hardware on the way for Web Server
. . . and I thought my computer was just slow opening the Forum and all this time it was your outdated web server!
Looking forward to the new upgrades.
Oh, and my old computer is slow as molasses opening any web site. It's still got 2003 technology in it with a few modest upgrades. But . . . there's only so much you can do with a AGP computer.
It does work well as a server, though!

Re: New Hardware on the way for Web Server
Haha... That is not the reason for your slowness as it flies up for me in less than a second. If it was the web server everyone would experience this no matter what
It does have 2008 which was built off of vista OS if you want to compare that
To me the slowness sounds more like a compatibility issue/glitch with the web browser and the processor that is running it.
