I have a new map I'm working on that I started in WinXP. Since I had some free time at work I copied the map on to my laptop that has Win7. I've made a lot of changes and additions and now want to copy the map back to my WinXP computer to continue to work on it. However, I am not getting the map version that has been updated . . . I get the version that I originally copied from WinXP. Suggestions???
BTW - I'm using a flash drive for the transfer and have also tried to email the map to myself but always get the same result.

I think you might find it here ish ish ish.
C:\Users\Jason\AppData\Local
You will need to unhide hidden folder too. If it is doing what I am thinking it is doing.

Here's another thing to try Bubba.
When you open the folder that the map is in on your Win 7 machine, see if there is a compatibility view at the top. If there is then
click on it and see if your updated .MIS, .BMS, etc... files are there.
Whenever I get maps from folks I always put the .MIS file in that compatibility view part of the MOD 15 or DFX2 folder because that's where
my MED looks for it and saves it back to.

Re: Win XP to Win 7 and Back to WIN XP
I looked for the "C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local" file but didn't see it. When I clicked on "Users", it brought up "Laptop", "Public", and "TEMP". Nothing in any of these files that was helpful.
However . . .
I did find the updated game files in the "Compatibility Mode" and was able to copy them over to my XP computer.
Thanks!!
