Delta Force: Hawk Ops
Has anyone checked out the beta testing for Hawk Ops?
Handle every stressful situation like a Dog....if you can't eat, hump it, or play with it, pee on it and walk away

It is now available as a download in a demo game. Bit different from the old Novalogic with more complication on weapon selection etc . You can pick up stuff as you go and add it to your inventory. Played it yesterday but was slightly underwhelmed.

Full game now available (no BHD addon yet but promised). Not worth the wait........early days? I do find it a bit strained though. Seems a lot of running aroundwith mixed objectives but loads of players. Most too quick for me

The game is alright, typical, what I expected. Stick with randomly chosen squad of 4, defend or attack a post. Earn your gear or pay up front. I can only play two 30-minute games and I am done. Nothing will ever replace Joint Operations/Delta Force.

Delta Force is available. It is in game mode now - only the quasi CoD version Campaign and Warfare but the promised BHD addin is mooted to follow soon.
Personally I find the new game in current comabt formats unedifying and not really playable. Far too complicated. It is also a play now :pay later game. You get on and then have to pay to add weapons. There is like an Arms Race. You start with a basic M4 but all the hacks have Ray Guns and stuff. I drop into it now and again to see if the BHD option is ready but frankly, at age 72 I am struggling with the whole game concept. I think my score on the game is worse than current Ground Branch so that's saying something.
If the BHD gane option is a similar mode to current then I am going to uninstall it.
By the way - Sandstorm Insurgency is worth a shout BUT there is no Deathmatch option
