I used to know how to do this but it's been a while.
What should my events look like to attached pilot (SSN 1) to a Chinook (SSN 2) and then fly the WP (WP "Chinook")

If the pilot is to only fly the helo then hard attach him to the helicopter using the item attributes wp list 125 and helo ssn

Nope, you don't have to check Flying Organic. Just what Wind said will work.

Thanks I got it to work finally.... had to separate my wp's also, one to landing then another to take off.

By the way, if you do check "fly organic", my experience is that the aircraft will try and follow terrain, dips and bounds, instead of a nice controlled flight to the next waypoint altitude (often getting hung up on the terrain or vegitation). Also, making the pilot neutral (Green Team), blind and indestructable will keep him from reacting to threats from the air or the ground.
