I was reminded last night of something I should have done while building a map.
That is "SAVE YOUR WORK" often.....
We had the storm of storms last night with no power outages during the big storm. Hail, very high winds and possible tornado.
Car windows broken out and large tree limbs broken is all that's been reported so far.
I waited until the big storm was passed before working on my map, when it started.
Power outage #1 = lost all new work on map (15 minutes of work). Restarted from last save point.
Power outage #2 = restarting my work on map (2 minutes of work). Restarted from last save point.
Power outage #3 = lost all new work and was cursing like a sailor (5 minutes of work).
Moral of the story save your work often if you don;t want to lose it.

Re: Reminded
I can't tell you the number of times I've been so engrossed in building a map that I would forget about saving the work and losing it.
Good post Tex.
