can't figure out where screenshots go
can't figure out where screenshots go
I think I am taking screenshots correctly and if I am, I can't seem to find the directory where the screenshots go. Any idea where to look?

They go into your DFX2 or Black Ops Folder and are shown as .jpg files which are usually named like SS00000, SS00001, SS00002, etc. SS=Screen Shot.

Re: can't figure out where screenshots go
Just info for others who might have problems finding their screen shots. I looked in the black ops folder and they weren't there. I found them in a novalogic2 folder located inside an apps folder in my user directory - what a pain it took me to find them. I didn't even find them by doing a search for all jpg files until I told the comp to look at the hidden files too. How weird is that?

It must be the way your computer is set up. Mine go right into my Black Ops folder.

Sparhauk,
If you use the Print Screen function (Prt Scr) on your PC the screen shot will be held in memory. If you then open any other program (PAINT, WORD or anything that will save an image), before you shut down the PC or take another screen shot, you can paste that image directly into the program.
I use Paint Shop Pro... that way I can manipulate the brightness, contrast, color correct or crop that image.

I've made some changes in the permissions that will allow squad members to upload images from their computer. This includes screenshots.

Also what could be having the issue of putting into wrong folder might have to do with the same problem with the med manager. Does your BOMod folder have a period in it. Like BOMod1.3. If so remove the period. Otherwise its how the dfx2 exe handles things.
