Re: Checking In - January 2013
I would like to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Bob (aka Red Dog); I have been playing Joint Operations since 2004. I am one of the founders and administrators of the Thundering3rd clan (T3) which unfortunately is slowly fading away from me. I am basically a self-taught mapper and have made custom maps for Joint Operations Esc, SnA, ICE, and IC4 mods for many years. I am not saying I am a master map builder, there is always more to learn but I have gotten complements on my work.
I decided one day to buy the Delta Force Extreme 2 for a different change of pace since most gamers were getting into AW2 which I found not that enjoyable for several reasons but mainly the unrealism. I found the DFX2 game to be “Old School” limited but enjoyable. I could understand why the game got bad reviews but also realized the persons that gave the bad reviews did not give the game a chance or understand the simplicity and objective Novalogic was trying to obtain which I believe is Team Work.
I would like to thank all the PG-Members that I met and communicated in the last two nights for such a warm welcome. I had a great time playing the BO-Mod for the first time with all of you. It was nice to see such a large group of friends getting together laughing and joking having a good time kicking some AI butt.
I look forward to gaming in the PG server, meeting more of the members, and building custom maps for all to enjoy.
Thanks again for the welcome and I will see you all on the battlefield.

Re: Checking In - January 2013
Thanks for the kind words about our server and squad members.
About half of the group (39 squad members) is in their 50s, 60s and 70s. The other half are the youngsters in their 30s and 40s. We have a good group and always have a lot of fun when we play.
We appreciate players that come into the server that play by the rules and jump right in and mingle with us, which is what you did. You're welcome in any of our servers any time.

Welcome to the Forums RD and thanks for the kind words.
If you have any questions about map making feel free to ask. We have a dedicated section for map
making tips and questions.
Since you've used the DFX MED to make JO maps I'm sure it will be easy enough to create a BO MOD map.
