Too old?
Too old?
I have a nag... According to a posting in "The Next Web", October 2012: IE9, still the latest and greatest from Microsoft, captured 19.45 percent of the market last month (up by 1.05 percent percentage points). IE8 lost a whopping 1.18 percentage points and fell below the 25 percent mark, but it’s still the world’s most popular browser
If that is the case, then why do I have to put up with the annoying messsage on our web site that "My Browser is TOO OLD!", when trying to geolocate me? And why is it trying to geolocate me to begin with? You know where I am, and I certainly don't need everyone that uses our site to know my Lat/Long values...

Re: Too old?
I agree. Hopefully it will be removed soon.

Re: Too old?
I use Firefox and it was popping up for me. It's gone now.

I use Opera in the latest version 12.13.
There are no problems with any pop ups on our web site.
Also good on this browser is, you can store your site-passwords in it.

Not sure what pop ups you are referring to. I have never seen any and I use IE9

Re: Too old?
I spoke with The Eye about this and he said the script has been completely removed from the website. His suggestion was to either refresh the page or clear your browser's cache.Hotstick wrote:Still popping up on IE8

Thanks Eye and Bubba... I was clearing my cache every night, and it would popup on every refresh... all better now that it has been removed
