I use a FREE program called "Power Desk 6" made by VCOM. It is a "File Manager" program much like Windows Explorer with the benefits of zipping/unzipping files. It actually unzips just about any type of zip file out there including .rar files. Here's the link for it if you want to try it: http://powerdesk.soft32.com/

By the way, DD Huntor hates this program so it must be O.K.   J/K

winrar also allows you to unzip files.

Powerdesk takes over way more then you would want to. This will only unzip files that are zip files.

Another I think is 7zip.

I use 7-Zip, which is freeware. Have used it for several years.
