Ok, DFX2 server worked! I am able to play on one as well as host from the server. Also, outsiders can play as well.

More questions!!!!!!

Do I need PHP-RAT to do scrolling banners and announcements in game?

Also, is it possible to run a DFX2 and a DFX2-BO server from one PC?

Thanks to all who helped me and answered my questions!

Can't do scrolling banners with PHP-RAT - Announcements from the "Admin" can be typed in and sent but don't repeat or scroll.
You can set up repeating text with a "server.wac" file like I had in the game servers announcing the PG VS All TDM. I can show you how to set it up.
The scroll acts differently in DFX2 than in Black Ops. It just has to be laid out differently so it makes sense.
Also, is it possible to run a DFX2 and a DFX2-BO server from one PC?
That's one Huntor would have to answer. I wouldn't think so because the port numbers are the same for both games. However, you may be able to change certain port numbers and do it.

Yup it is the same thing I listed above. 5 different same port numbers. Once you change all of them the second game will use those ports. Also rat port numbers must be different.

Speaking of Rat....

What do I need to install on the DFX2 hosting machine to use php-rat to control the server?

Any documentation wouldbe helpful as well.

Happy Independence Day!!!

You could use Wolfrat to control your server. Also, you can remove the stock maps from the map rotation list

You just need to give a rat port a port number. Normally it is set to 0. So something like 40001 and the port that needs to be open for this is TCP where the game is UDP. You also need a admin.cfg file for user name and password.

If you want to connect outside of your local network you need to comment out
ip_restrict = 192.168.* to //ip_restrict = 192.168.*
//NAME PASSWORD RIGHTS
JoeUser yoyoyo FF

You must use settings above to use phprat. If you have wolfrat on your local network you must connect via 192.168 what ever your network local address is. Or what ever your IPS provided ISP if you comment out the ip_restrict.
