Windows 10 :( Upgrade

Well if you install this you will find DFX no longer plays in windows 10 (Downloaded version)

No compatibility with windows 10 so Microsoft done it again.

The DVD version which is £145 GBP may differ I dont know yet but be warned you wanna keep playing dont upgrade yet. wait for fixes.

Are you talking DFX or DFX2??? I know I have played DFX2 on it with no problems.

Installed DFX from cd and runs fine on Windows 10.
Installed DFX2 digital download runs fine on windows 10.

Are you sure the issue is not a video card driver problem?

Windows 10 version I am running is the latest beta version that was released. Not the upgraded version. I am thinking it isn't a windows issue.

Things you can try. Turning User Account Controls off.
Or copying your install folder to the outside of your programs folder. This will also bypass the User Account Controls without turning it off.
Like C:\Delta Force Folder. The game was never designed to use the windows user folder.

Have found out that it can be a problem with anything that use's DX9

Direct x 10 and 11 are seeming to work fine.

gonna update my graphics card just in case.

I my opinion, what use to be called icons are now called apps looking more like a cell phone

And hence why it is an optional upgrade. You have 30 days to roll back to your former operating system.

It is still better than Windows 8 and 8.1 I can see where if you upgrade from 7 you might not be as excited about it. But windows 7 will never have directx 12. So there are reason not to roll back.
