up and down

Post by NightRunner »

well i had been intending to play more while i was on my extended sick time off but, my damn network is just so up and down that i cant do anything but send messages on forums. it is just like one day about a little over a week ago my cell network was running tip top then boom, went from ping on average of 70ms to 18000ms. currently looking into ways to install an antenna on my roof to try and pick up the signal again. should have it resolved here soon i hope.

Seems to be a lot of that going around. A few of the guys are having similar problems . . . myself included.

I think it's something other than our individual set ups. I have been having similar issues both here at home and at work for a little while.

Are these issues happening outside off the DFX2 game? The reason i am asking is that I had one of my other accounts complaining about getting red balls. But I am starting to think it is there ISP or one of the major networks they come in on. Please let me know. I do know on Tuesday the datacenter shut a few things off in order to upgrade some equipment. But it was to be transparent.

I raised hell with my cable company several weeks ago because of the connection problems I was having and after a couple of trips to my house they finally got it working right. Within the last week the same problems are starting up again. Time to start raising hell again. :x

No issues with AT&T Gigapower. Been having a stable connection around 946.00 Mpbs both down and up being equal.

The guy that was complaining has a dsl connection and he is getting 60 percent loss on the 3rd hop from ATAT. Being that it is a 3mb connection and up to 60% loss explains why he has over a 500 ping.
