CAN'T LOG IN TO MULYIPLAY KEEP GETTING A MESSAGE: TRY AGAIN (CODENWEC42)

Hey Beer. Try to run a tracert to novalogic to see if you can even get to them.

To do this open up the command promt. You can do this by going to search on task bar and typing cmd.

Once the black dos screen comes up. Type....

tracert 207.178.209.204 then hit enter.

You should see it hitting every network hop to the novalogic datacenter.

The last couple of stops is is keyinfo.com routers and then the ip address you put in.

If you can't get to the keyinfo routers then they are blocking something.

I NOW CAN LOG INTO THE GAME SERVER AND PLAY ROR ABOUT 10 MIN. THEN IT SHUTS DOWN WITH "CODE J-023". I POSTED THIS ON NOVA WORLD LAST WEEK BUT NO REPLIES

Hmm i have never seen that code before. There was several others that had login issues with the code from original post. But from what I can see it has been fixed. This sounds like a datacenter issue on novas end for sure.

Nova says "Code J-023 is not any of their codes

I would need to login to your machine beer and see what is going on. It does seem to be a problem with your local machine. Did you try playing plain dfx2? This might be a firewall issue on your pc.

I did find a really old post from 2004 where someone was having the J-023 error. This was posted in joint ops on Delta Force Barracks.

I think his problem has been fixed . . . I see him in the servers again.

OK good. Wasn't sure if he was still getting kicked out after a period of time.

I sent Beernuts and email asking if he was still having problems and he replied back that he was. I know I saw him in the server a few times but I guess he wasn't able to stay in.

The error message says; AN UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURED, IF YOU CONTINUE TO SEE THIS MESSAGE CONTACT NOVALOGIC TECHNICAL SUPPORT. (CODE J-023)
