Deathmatch map making question

Was tinkering with a DM map and saw in the editor under EDIT the Weapon Loadouts options.

Would this help in making a map say, only knives or shotguns?

I knew you could restrict certain weapons in a server.

Thanks!

I know it doesn't work for COOPS and I'm 99% sure it doesn't work at all with any type of map. :(
Sure would be nice if it did! ;)

Viiper, only the RAT (server manager program) can restrict weapons in multiplayer games.

The MED weapon load outs only works for single player maps. :geek:

You get the drop down for the weapons loadout but there are no weapons listed to select.

Sorry about that.
I thought Viiper was asking about DFX2 MED made maps since that's what he was going to host in his server.

The DFX2 MED does show weapons in the weapon load out drop down and it says for single player only.

Why they don't show in the BO MED (versions 1.3, 1.5, 1.6) weapon load out drop down is a mystery.

Either way, the RAT program is the only way to restrict certain weapons in multiplayer games.

I believe Wolfrat allowed you to do that also

Viiper, if you don't already have a copy of Wolfrat I'm sure we can get you a copy.
It works well with DFX2.

And its one for all, all for one, no choosing between maps
