BO 1.6 voice macro strings

Good afternoon gentlemen. Haven't been able to play the new mod and finally had some time. I have d/l'd the 1.6 mod as was described on the forum. When I go to start the game, I can see DeltaForce: Xtreme 2 V1.7.5.7 . Another program error box pops up saying 'Unable to load voice macro strings'. When I click on the OK box, everything closes. I was able to open the 1.5 mod. I am on Windows 7 with all the latest updates. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

You need to make a copy of your DFX2 game folder. Then install the 1.6 into that. If you don't you will get the errors above about missing files. BO Mod 1.6 is only modified files of the DFX2 game. It requires the base game prior to installing.

So copy the whole folder? Not just dfx2.exe ?

Copy the whole DFX2 game and paste it into a new folder. Name the new folder something like "NovaLogicBO",

This was posted some time ago by one of our squad members. It's for BO 1.5, however the install for 1.6 is the same.
