I got this code error (We can't sign in to your account) after the June 18th Windows update. I was able to use the computer but whenever I shut down anything I had done was lost . . . files, settings, etc.
For weeks I looked for a fix and finally found one yesterday that worked. It's a little 'Techie' but simple enough for me to use and I'm about as computer illiterate as you can get.

The same thing happened to me after an update but I was able to sign in using my Microsoft account and had to fix how I logged in
