How close together can two spawn points for a DM map be? Is there a certain distance they have to be away from each other?

There's no set distance but a rule of thumb I use is that spawn points are evenly distributed around the map. Don't put more than 1 in an area at a time. Example . . . place 1 North, then 1 South, 1 East, 1 West, 1 center, 1 NW. 1 SW, etc until you have around 16 spawn points.
