Anyone been doing Call of the Wild

Well, this game Call of the Wild seems to be decimating squad activity in the UK.
It appears to be some kind of single player co-op where you hunt down animals to extinction or mow them down regardless. Lot's of people rave over it in the UK but I haven't bought the game and don't intend to.
I was wondering if anybody on PG is playing it regular?
I have heard on team PG speak chat people talking about it but thought to ask about it here in the forum just to hear opinion and taking the temperature on the general viewpoint and considered ethos of the game.
