I posted to Quantic Lab support page again this morning. Surprisingly I got a quick response. Not sure if it's another canned response but the wording is somewhat different from other responses. This is what I posted and then the reply:

There are a lot of people waiting for the Delta Force Xtreme series to come back on online. I know there have been numerous inquiries but to date there have only been canned responses.

Please, have the decency to let us, the customers, know what's happening. If there is a genuine problem with the game, let us know. If you're shutting the Delta Force Xtreme series down, please let us know.

has there been any thought as to moving to a different game? I know task force elite isn't the best but it is the closest in game play to DF and they do have the ability to customize maps and different style of playing.

I downloaded TFE and tried to play it. I can run it at 1024x768 but it is still jerky. I really don't care much for that game anyway.

While looking for info > found this. They weren't kidding in 2015 when they said support would be limited. "This topic has been pinned. So it's probably important.

A few of us have been trying out "Ground Branch" on steam. We have been playing it for about 4 weeks or so. Seems to be interesting enough to continue testing.

This link will tell you what THQNORDIC has been up to. And DFX2 is nowhere to be found.
Their money isn't on or in DFX2. That's the reason for the "canned messages".
Anyone know a good Programmer / Coder for DFX2?
