Is anyone playing Joint Operations? Escalation or Typhoon Rising? What mod and where to find?

I have all the JO games but the CD's are packed away somewhere. I think Red Dog was into JO. He made maps for it.

I got it from Steam, but need the correct mods to play in any of the servers they have. They seem to have a lot of servers up and running, but all of them are running mods.

Yep . . . as I remember the original game was kinda lame. I think I have all the mods except for the most recent one. Mods saved that game.

It's called Advanced Warfare 2. I use to play it and as I remember it wasn't too bad.

Thanks, Joe. I'll give it a try tonight. I'm gonna try it on the Steam version to see if it will work with that even though it says it probably won't.

It definitely doesn't load with the Steam version.

Yeah I was thinking you might run into a issue with steam. I know the BO Mod wouldn't work with the steam version for DFX2 due to specific coding. Then they had the multiplayer only version which made it worse. Some of those mods will install with the full game. But I can't remember how AW2 worked.

I have a Joint Operations server running the Internation Conflict Mod (IC4)

The name of the sever is Special Missions Unit (SMU) with all custom maps

There are not many still playing the Mod compared to AW2 but I get a good amount of traffic. There are pros and cons for AW2 and I like the IC4 Mod better. The bots actually have a brain in IC4. I also run the International Conflict Europe Mod (ICE) occasionally, but the traffic is very low.
